Dawn VanDerVere, 51, of Helena, passed away at her home, Monday, August 9, 2010.

Her survivors include her longtime partner, Larry Maynard; two sisters, Renee (Chuck) Crawford and Billie Jo KoKoruda; two brothers, Bill (Sandy) KoKoruda and Joe KoKoruda; five nieces, Yvonne Crawford, Alanna Crawford, Caxandra KoKoruda, Sara Cooley and Helen Taffs; two nephews, Ty Cooley and Eric Taffs; and one great niece, Melody Crawford, all of Helena. Dawn was as good person as they come, she truly had a heart of gold. We spent many hours sharing tables at Jorgenson’s and JB’s over the years and I am honored to have had her friendship and her confidence.
