Born May 22, 1926 in Madison, Wisconsin to Cora Rear Call and Clyde Bert Call, Margaret Alice Call Sampson passed away on August 4, 2011 at the age of 85 in Helena, Montana.
In 1968, Margaret married James Sampson and together they were employed as janitors at the City County Building, and were awarded the Carroll College Community Service Award in 1984. Margaret and James were members of the Salvation Army Church, and were faithful Salvation Army Bell Ringers during the Christmas holidays. Margaret loved to write poetry, loved all beads, and was often seen making snow flakes and other beaded treasures to give to everyone she met.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, husband James, and her brothers Louis and Gordon. Margaret is survived by her son Mark of Great Falls, Montana, brother Arthur of Houston, Texas, niece Teresa Call (CA), nephew Gary Call Robinson (AZ) and her beloved care givers Ruth Straley, Marvin Hunt, and Stacy Henry, all of Helena.

Margaret was one of my favorite people. When she and James worked for the City Engineers Office they would clean my desk for me which made them feel special. I loved seeing Margaret and James walk down the street hand in hand. Now that was a real love story.
