My Uncle Tom was one of a kind! Although I will not see you again until my time comes I will always remember your face always smiling, our weekly chats on the phone whether it was us talking or holding a conversation with Ron being our “middle man” relaying messages. I wont forget all the laughs we shared…generally at someone else’s expense. I will never forget your hugs or kisses. With a heavy heart I want to say good bye and I love you so much. Love your nephew! Oh and if you could please be with me for the next fantasy football draft, Let’s finally pick a winner! Love you!!! Love you!!! Love you!!!
Jaymi says
Dear Uncle Tom,
I didn’t know you as much as I would have liked to and it makes me sad. It always hurts when you lose a family member regardless of how much you knew them. I don’t have much memories either but the one thing I do remember is your smile, and how happy & loving you were with everyone. Every time I think of you I just see your smiling face. You were a great person & I wish I would have had the chance to know you better. It hurts my heart to see everyone so hurt & upset but it just proves even more how much of a wonderful person you were! Definitely one of a kind . You will be missed so much by everyone & we will always keep you alive in our hearts & in memory. I am happy for you-as much as it sucks- because now you are finally at peace & free to do all the things you love to. You have no worries anymore. You can go back to your Happy, silly, and mischievous self again (I heard LOTS of stories lol) .
Rest in Paradise Uncle Tom, don’t raise too much hell up there !
My deepest condolences to Aunt Gabi & family. Everyone will get through this terrible loss, our family is STRONG & we are each others best support system. He will be with us all until we meet him again & he will help the family get through this.

We were so sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. He was so dear to so many friends and family. Tom always seemed to have a smile for everyone he was with, and we so enjoyed spending time with him. I am so happy we had the chance to visit with Uncle Tom when he came out to Washington for Betty’s big birthday bash last April. He was always fun to be with, and his wonderful sense of humor brought so many smiles to those around him.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to Gaby, Teresa, Ronnie, and Tom at this difficult time. Our love and prayers are with you all. Char & Mike

I have been thinking about Tommy and all the good times. There are so many memories. I am going to remember when Tommy stayed with us on the farm, and we were going out to do chores in the winter time. Mom dressed Tommy very warm, she put a white dish towel on his head and put a cap on over that, along with coat, gloves and boots. When she put the dish towel on his head, Judy, Tommy, and I looked at each other, and laughed. Tommy was grinning from ear to ear. He looked so cute and he knew it. Even though, I feel the pain of losing Tommy, I will always remember his smile, humor, and all the good times. I send my sympathy to Gabby, Theresa, Ron, and Tom, to all Tommy’s grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and to Tommy’s brothers and sisters. We love you all.

Bob & Gaye Pettis says
We will always remember Tommy as a superb conversationalist with his winning personality and sharp wit. He led the way when us cousins gathered together. It was always “Let the good times roll” with stories full of laughter and fun adventures.
I met Tommy in my early teens and was struck by his charm and good looks mixed with a very gentlemanly attitude. He will always be that gentleman cousin too me.
In our early twenties, Gaye and I met him and Gabby at uncle Bobby’s in Kirkland and have enjoyed many gatherings and picnics since never running short of stories and laughs. Even when he could not come to Thompson Falls a few years ago to hunt and fish, he gave me good leads on where he had been. He faced his deteriorating health issues with resolve, a positive attitude, and an inspiration to us all. The man is truly loved who loves others and Tommy was all that and more. Until we meet in heaven, farewell to a dear cousin and friend. Our deepest sympathy go out in prayer to Gabby and Tommy’s children.
Tommy will always be remembered by his cousin Judy when they sang their favorite song together, “Missing In Action” – an olden day song about a soldier … how befitting!
