Born September 26, 1925, passed away May 2, 2015 at the age of 89 years old. Walter served our country in the Navy during World War II. Walter married Dorothy Middlestead on June 5, 1948.
Walter and Dorothy had many great things in common, Walter loved gold mining, camping, being with friends and family, and his best buddy Thomas his cat!
Walter will be missed by his wife Dorothy, Brother Cecil, and all his many other relatives and friends. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Kathleen Trapp and the staff at the Broadwater Wellness center for the great care Walter received.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 11:00 a.m. at Montana State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Harrison. Reception will be immediately following service in the family’s home located at 14 Elk Horn Road, Townsend, Montana.
