Ten years ago, among the first people I met here. When my dear Gordon died, Karen was there for me.
It will get better, dear. Love, Thea

Karen, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Looking @ his picture I can see the imp behind his eyes. I will miss it when I call your house for he always joked with me and most of the time I couldn’t disguise my voice. What I will remember the most is you, Bernie, and little Paddy. Give Paddy an extra hug from me. Cherish the memories. Anytime you need anything you can call me. It’ still hard to believe but he’ s in a better place than we are.
Erin Cranston says
I could always expect a joke and a hug whenever I saw Bernie. I’m so glad I got to meet him and be a part of the Borowiak “extended family”, which was enormous. Hugs and love to all of you from Scott, Cam and Erin.

Allah birbirinden binlerce mil uzaktaki ailelerimizi birlestirdi. Once mutlu bir dugunu, ardindan bir dogumu yani bir “mucize”yi paylastik. Simdi de bir “veda”yi paylasiyoruz. Insan hayatina anlam katan bu seyleri yine tum yuregimizle paylasiyoruz. Bernie’ varligiyla da “yokluguyla da” hayatlarimiza anlam katti’ katmaya devam edecek. Allah”a sukurler olsun onu tanidigimiz icin. Mekani cennet olsun.
God united our families across thousands of miles. We have shared a happy wedding, then a birth. Now we are sharing a fairwell. Bernie has made our lives richer. Our memories of him will continue to do so. We are blessed to have known Bernie. May he rest in peace.
Todd Janke says
All kinds of good and warm thoughts for you all. Bernie was a wonderful human being, and I will always remember his good humor and calm presence. The world is a poorer place now without him.
John & Val Anderson says
We send you our deepest sympathy in the loss of husband, Bernie. We remember he and John commuted together to General Mills and he was a good neighbor. He always smiled and was friendly. You had many good years together and you will eventually join him in a wonderful hereafter.
Debby Brackman says
Dear Karen, My deepest sympathies to you & yours for the loss of Bernie. It was truly a joy working with him at Albertsons, those several years ago. Whenever I get the urge to re-tie my shoe laces, I think of him, which he would almost daily find he needed to do. Once you re-tie one, you have to re-tie the other.
