In memory of

Darla Lavergne, age 51 of Helena

August 15, 1966 – February 26, 2018

Darla K. Lavergne passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2018. She was born August 15, 1966 in Arcadia, California, and moved to Montana in the late 1970’s with her family. She met and married Ronald Lavergne in 1983. They were blessed with three incredible sons; Nicholas, Brett, and Jeramey. She became a widow in 1988 after the passing of her husband. Her boys were her best friends. With friends like that, who needs enemies? If you knew her you would understand.

Her favorite activities included: writing, drawing, baking, playing games, and camping. She really enjoyed looking out her window and trying to figure out the life stories of the people she saw.

She is survived by her parents, Dennis and Gloria Giles; sons: Nicholas, Brett and Jeramey; siblings: Lance (Tami) Giles, Denny Giles, Tom Moses, Tammy (David) Strandberg, Deja Boswell, and Ginger Finnerty, special nieces, Tabatha and Noel Thunstrom, along with many other nieces and nephews.

Just like Mom said every time we left: “Love You…Kiss You…Miss You…Bye-Bye.”

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to The Lewis & Clark Humane Society, P.O. Box 4455, Helena, MT 59604, or The International Elephant Foundation,  She loved her animals. Service will take place at a later date.  Please visit below to offer condolences or share a memory of Darla.
