Donna Deloris Everett passed away March 6, 2019 peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born May 8th, 1935 in Helena, MT to Wickie and Catherine (Katie) DeBree.
Donna graduated from Helena High school in 1953. After graduation she worked at the First National Bank, returning to work at the VA Credit Union, after she raised her children.
In 1955 Donna met the love of her life Kenneth L Everett. They married on January 28, 1956. They recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. She was a wonderful mother to 6 children, a grandmother to 12 children and a great grandmother to 2 children. She was an active fund raiser for the Y Lions AAU swim team for many years, since a majority of the team were her children. She truly enjoyed her 12 grandchildren, and was always supportive of their activities. She was an amazing cook and homemaker. She was a native of Helena and had a passion for its long history. She loved exploring Montana with family and friends. Most summers found her at the family cabin on Canyon Ferry Lake where she loved to entertain her family and many friends. She treated everyone like family. Donna was known for her humor, quick wit, zest for life and will be truly missed by all.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Ken Everett; son Dan Everett (Wendy Watson); son Ron Everett (Karen); daughter Vicki Burgmeier (Chris); daughter Chris Bartsch (Paul); son Mike Everett (Angela Smith Kloster); and son Steve Everett (Angie). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Mallory Hook (Tom); Andrea Everett (Anibal Ponce); Levi Burgmeier; Emily Burgmeier; Ashley Everett; Baylee Everett; Mark Everett (Lydia Maynard); Nikolas Everett; Olivia Burgmeier; Sara Burgmeier; Skye Everett; and Blake Everett. She also has two great-grandchildren Landen Hook; Luke Hook; and one on the way.
A family memorial service is planned for later this summer. Please visit www.retzfuneralhome.com to offer a condolence to the family or to share a memory of Donna.

My sincere sympathies on the loss of Donna. I would guess she and Shirley are watching the rest of us as we cope with the loss of our loved ones. I would like to attend the memorial service if that is possible. Take care and wish for spring.
