I went out to Evans place frequently when he would fix my antique clocks. He would show me all of his wives antiques and tell me the stories behind them. When I met him he was very lonely and missed his sweet wife a lot. I was a widow so I could relate and we would chat about loneliness. He was a generous man and suffered much with his back. We would swap old war wounds and cures. He was adamant that none of his property would go to family and he was giving it all away to a DD provider in town. He had a lovely peaceful place. I have missed him greatly and all our chats.
