Georgia J. Conti, age 72 of Helena

Georgia J. Conti (Wanda Walton), age 72, of Helena, passed away March 13, 2023 at home in her sleep with her children by her side after a battle with cancer.

Georgia was born November 22, 1950 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Moving to Helena in 1959, she graduated from Helena High in 1969. She married Gene Poelman in 1975 and had two children, Cheryl and Charles.

Georgia worked at various retirement homes in Helena as a CNA and Housekeeper until her retirement. In retirement, Georgia enjoyed pedicures, movies, and spending time with her children.

Georgia is survived by her children, Cheryl Poelman-Allen (Brad) and Charles Poelman.

A Gathering and visitation for friends and family will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Retz Funeral Home, 315 E 6^th Ave., with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Helena.
