Our beloved Margaret Matilda Williams passed on September 7, 2013, after a brief illness. She was born on April 11, 1927 in Milltown, South Dakota to Stephan and Mary Bracha.
Margaret attended school in South Dakota. In 1941, while in high school, she met the love of her life, Edgar Williams. They were married on June 3, 1944 in Pierre, South Dakota. After the wedding, they had a small ranch on the border of South Dakota and Nebraska. Later they moved to Montana in 1964. Out of that union, four children were born.
Mom was an avid quilter. She was thrilled when one quilt went to a show in Denver and then the quilt traveled the country. Margaret loved touring the United States with Edgar. They visited all the states except for four: Alaska, Hawaii, Wisconsin and Florida.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Stephan and Mary Bracha and her two brothers, Earl Bracha and John (Jack) Bracha. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Edgar Williams of Helena, MT; Children, Myrna (Wayne) Steffan of Carlsbad, NM, Linda Williams of Vancouver, WA, Sharon Williams of Helena, Edwin (Mari) Williams of Dearborn, MT; brother, Joseph (Georgia) Bracha of Ryegate, MT; sisters, Sharleen Fahsholtz of Richland, WA and Viola Clark of Clancy, MT; sister-in-laws, Rita Bracha and Louise Bracha; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dear Edgar, Eddy, Sharon, Myrna, and Linda,
I met Marge on her birthday twenty-six years ago. We were both tall and were hanging quilts together for the Guild quilt show. Marge said, “Today is my birthday I am 60 years old.” What a young and vibrant person and such a beautiful quilter. As her friend, I amazedly watched Edgar and Marge buy three consecutive homes and “redo” them and then sell them and buy another plus the purchase of several motorhomes and 5th wheels. My heart is heavy; but my good memories make me joyous.
