Peggy Longfellow, of Helena, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014 of natural causes.
She was born April 7, 1923 in Helena, named Marguerite Shelley, but was called Peggy her whole life. She had six children: Denise Green of Spanaway, WA, Penny (Bill) Strandberg, Patrice Longfellow (Bob Pettit) both of Helena, Montana, Linda (Steve) Johns of Canyon Creek, Montana, and Larry (Eve) Longfellow of Helena, Montana as well as two nieces, 14 Grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Preceding Peggy in death was a son Gerald, son-in-law Dennis Green, sister June Lucero, a niece, and a nephew.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at Peggy’s request. Memorials may be made to the Veterans Cemetery, Box 5715, Helena, Montana 59604. Please visit below to offer the family a condolence or to share a memory of Peggy.
