Marjorie Lee Noon died on March 1, 2017 at St Peter’s Hospital in Helena Montana. She was 71 years old. She was a good sister, wife, and mother to her five step children. She was born in Conrad, Montana on January 8, 1946. She lived with her parents Claron and Ruth Neisess and brother, William, and sister, Carol, until she married Wilbur Noon on July 16, 1987. She attended Boulder River School growing up.
Marjorie was a wonderful lady who worked most of her life. She did housekeeping and worked at St. John’s hospital for seven years doing housekeeping and then went to work for St Peter’s Hospital where she worked for more than 30 years. She liked working in the laundry department. After Marjorie had a hip injury she had to retire.
Marjorie was a fiercely independent woman. She was very proud to be living independently in her own home. She liked to listen to music and watch TV, (often at the same time), had a large collection of clocks, horses, radios, and angels as well as many other things. Everywhere she went there were people who knew her and loved to say hello.
Marjorie really enjoyed shopping at all of the thrift stores in Helena. Bill would take her everywhere and she would keep the gas tank full.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her step son Russell Noon and husband, Wilbur Noon.

Roger and Sue La Voie says
We were neighbors to Marjorie on Stadler for many years. We did not see each other often as we lived down the street but thoroughly enjoyed the little bit we got to know her. Marjorie was always friendly and helpful. When we talked with her about repaving our roads I don’t think she was going to personally benefit a whole lot from the improvements. Yet she was cooperative for the sake of the neighborhood. We miss having Marjorie as a neighbor.
