Robert “Bob” Charles Jester, age 62, passed away surrounded by his family and friends July 2, 2016 in Helena. Bob way born February 22, 1954 to Frank and Laura Jester in Helena. He graduated Helena High School in 1973.
Bob enjoyed art, wood working, darts, pinball, pool league and bowling league. He loved collecting stuff from eagles to beer trays and everything in between.
Bob was a dedicated father to Anna and Levi Jester. They were his pride and joy. He loved to tell his friends about what his children were up to. He loved his grandchild, Jayden.
Bob owned the Jester’s Bar in Helena for the last half of his life, where is sponsored many leagues, live music and many other events. He had two rules to this – “show up and have fun!”
He is survived by: daughter, Anna Jester; son, Levi Jester; brothers, Walter, Tom and Lloyd Jester and their spouses; sister, Mary Ann Henry and spouse; grandchild, Jayden Alvarado; and Theresa Jester. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and an army of friends, employees and customers.
A memorial service celebrating Bob’s life will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 8th at Retz Funeral Home, 315 E. 6th Avenue, Helena. A reception will follow at the Eagles Lodge 16, 801 N. Fee Street, Helena. Please visit below to offer the family a condolence or to share a memory of Bob.

Condolences to the whole Jester family for their loss. I remember fondly of him bowling at Capital Lanes on Saturdays for adult/child leagues with Anna and Levi, and my children Brandon and Annika. May he find peace now!
