Rozanne Warwick, age 72, died while the sun was rising June 29, 2015 of complications from Alzheimer’s. While betrayed by her body and mind, her spirit was present in the empathy she showed with the pat on the arm or a hug to reassure those around her.
Rozanne was born in McAllen Texas to Leon (deceased) and Annabel (deceased) Edwards, who, with her younger sisters Linda and Janice, were transferred all over southern Texas with the Border Patrol before a final move to Havre Montana. There she went to college, met her husband Vance of 52 years and started a family including her children Helen, Jill and Nathan to whom she imparted a love of thunderstorms, pizza and a pull yourself up by your bootstraps attitude and many dogs who gained too much weight from her numerous treats. She also spoiled her three grandchildren Allysha, Taylor and Olivia and got to meet the latest addition to her the family, her great grandson Matthew.
For retirement, Rozanne and Vance spent six plus years with Youth With A Mission, a Hawaiian and an Asian mission outreach before returning to Montana. They settled in Helena to be closer to family.
Though there were many struggles, Rozanne’s spirit and attitude continued to shine as she would weave, sew, craft, cook, clean, walk the dog, visit family and friends and pray. She finished well. And at the end, she knew the love that her family, friends and Christ all have for her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Rocky Mountain Hospice, 1075 N Rodney, Suite 102, Helena, MT 59601; Friendship Center. 1430 N. Sanders St, Helena, MT 59601; your local Humane Society or your local food share.

Dear Family,
First off, Vance is one of my heros. How he selflessly and patiently loved and took care of Rozanne inspired me as a mark of a true follower of Jesus Christ. While R was cognizant, he would pray with her and worship with her to the point of visibly touching the Throne Room. Later, he would pray for her and protect her to stave off anything that the enemy could muster. A true friend, husband and brother to his wife.
Rozanne was a worshipper. Even if she could not carry on much of a conversation, she would worship and her countenance would light up as if she was with her Best Friend. She had a visible and visceral relationship with Jesus. I suspect that has not changed much … in fact now that she is face-to-face, in the presence of the One who offers complete acceptance and full understanding, it will be for her, a blink of the eye and all who love her and are born-again will be with her.
Two more wonderful people one is unlikely to meet – Warwick’s hang in there, you are loved
