S. L. “Russ” Russell of Roundup, Montana passed away August 28th, 2010 at age of 53 with his wife Glenda beside him at the Fort Harrison Veterans Hospital in Helena, Montana.
Russ was born April 6, 1957, in Charleston, South Carolina. He graduated from Boston High school and went on to attend college at Ohio State University. Russ entered the U.S. Air force and served for six years as a Real Time Satellite Communication Operator. Following his honorable discharge, he resided in the Denver, Colorado area until the early 1990’s, when he moved to the Whitefish area in Montana.
Russ married Glenda Helmann August 8th, 2002 and they moved to Roundup Montana. This is where Russ started his own carpentry business called Custom Home Improvements. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying mountain climbing, river rafting, and hiking. Russ loved God and was excellent husband and will be deeply missed. Russ is survived by his wife Glenda Helmann of Roundup Mt.
